Hoping to overcome my lack of enthusiasm for my Tolland experience, I headed a few miles down the road to Vernon. It was still fairly early on Saturday evening; the club was not yet crowded, but was filling up. A somewhat better experience here; there were half a dozen girls visible, ranging from one absolute stunner (whose off-stage attenion, alas (for me), seemed to be focused on one lucky customer), down to maybe 6. Someone for every taste -- endowed, tiny, pierced, innocent/intellectual. (No kidding!) I almost hooked up for a private dance with an attractive girl named Rachel who was ending her shift, but a large group comprising a bachelor party turned up, and she was commandeered by the groom-to-be. Under the circumstances, I wasn't about to complain; the poor bastard probably had a lot to explain to his fiancee Sunday morning.

The bachelor party group was sufficiently obnoxious so that other customers, including me, weren't staying long. So I didn't get a p.d. this time, but I've had pleasant encounters here in the past. Since I was last here, about a year ago, Kahoots has redecorated the main dance area, which now seems more comfortable and better lit. I'll be back soon.
