Glass Slipper - Meets a Need on Random Afternoon
Visited Glass Slipper for first time on Friday before St. Patrick's Day. I had an afternoon meeting and a couple of hours to kill before heading home, so stopped in for a drink, some college hoops, and beautiful people. Space is small: ~10 spots at the bar and ~6 or so booths all facing a single stage with pole behind the bartender. Nothing fancy here - think about this as a relatively dim, worn out bar that happens to have a brightly lit stage for dancers.
No cover to get in (at least at 330pm on a Friday) and drinks at the bar were in the $12-$18 range. Lap dance costs $30 for one song and no negotiating since you actually pay the bartender before going to the booth in the back with the dancer. Although the back room isn't in sight of the bar, they have a bouncer stand just outside of it and watch so he can "keep an eye on things" which I'd never seen before and felt a little weird. Dancer told me that there's also a VIP upstairs ($300 for 30 min) and that there's a "$30 to buy a dancer a drink and sit with her in the booth" option... I didn't partake in either of these although noticed one dancer pretty handsy with a customer in a booth if that's your thing.
10 or so male customers there while I was there and ~5 dancers (1 white, 1 asian, 3 black). A couple worked the stage for a bit (topless not nude) and based on visits to ~6 other clubs, I'd say they were average in terms of dancing skills. 3 of the dancers not my type (thick/curvy, soft belly) but 2 were very fit. I did 4 dances with China (topless, lots of two way contact) and she really knew how to grind.
