Not a Regular Strip Joint, But Not In a Bad Way
Went here on Saturday after St. Patty's around 10PM, outside of events or other popular holidays this is probably as busy as this place is going to get. The parking lot was overfilled with cars parked blocking other cars in the lot, had to park on the adjacent road. Walk in to the front entrance and get met by the door man, cover was $5.
This definitely qualifies as a small strip club, the smallest of any other I've been to from Minnesota/Vegas. Walking in the front places you in the bar half of the club(more about this later), it's nicely lit, looks like it has been recently updated is clean/well maintained. There's a long L-shaped bar with 2 large TV's behind it, 2-3 nice looking bartenders who were attentive to those who were able to make it to the bar. Looked to be standard midwestern bar food available to order as well. As I said previously it was busy and in this dive bar kind of space meant everyone was shoulder to shoulder and getting to the bar was time consuming. Beside the bar itself the remaining half side is dedicated to electronic pull tabs that resemble slots and two dart boards. For the first hour I was there the dart boards were not in use as it was too busy to be practical. This area also contained the building's bathrooms with the females' looking freshly updated and the male's was cramped with two urinals and a stall and was in need of a little TLC (expect to damn near touch shoulders if there's another patron taking a leak). Drink prices were $4-$6 per for beer/rail drinks, wasn't interested in seeing what top shelf prices were so can't relay that.
The other half of the joint is used for the stage, adjacent tables, and the lap dance area. As far as the state of the room, it is a mixed bag. You can tell it's an older building that's been converted to it's current use. The walls are painted over wood paneling with funny meme signage and a neon sign or two. The floor is carpeted and probably could use replacement. It's dimly lit with the majority of lighting from blacklights and neon signs. An exception to this is the stage dominates the room and looks new and updated and lit with changing LED's. Seating is at the stage and high top tables surrounding the stage. There's a corner of the room dedicated to lap dances that have leather loveseat benches and chairs. It's not secluded and open for gawking to see how milage may very, with the twist of knowing that your own dances are going to be watched.
