Monday Afternoon
I arrived at 1:45pm on Monday to a mostly empty parking lot. Light pat down and $10 entry fee to the door girl. It’s in an industrial area that is going through gentrification. I noticed some new upscale apartments and retail nearby so we’ll see what impact that has on the club down the line.
Top level was closed so I headed down the stairs to the main floor. At this time there were maybe 5 dancers with more trickling out of the dressing room and around 8-10 patrons with each one claiming a booth to themselves . I was able to grab the last open booth and as more dancers appeared it’s not long before you get approached.
I ended up getting multiple dances apiece from 5 different cubans. I was only able to get one dancer's name ("Melody") and the rest remained anonymous. These girls aren’t much for conversation even if they can speak decent English. It’s usually just a “wanna dance” and typically their high milage dances are to get you worked up for VIP which I decided to forgo on this day. Surprisingly only one pushed VIP (and did so repeatedly, I must have said no at last 6 times). Still, they provide good dances even if it's a little mechanical. I guess it just depends on what you're looking for but I was satisfied. Songs seem to be played fully and are a mix of rap, R&B and a little reggaeton.
