Best bet in town

This is a summary of various visits, weekday and weekends over a two week period.

French's is one of 4 clubs all with the same owner. I've reviewed the other three recently. Dgirls is the after hours, Doll House the early club, Lips the upscale place, Frenchy's is the fun one.

The club sits on the edge of the San Juan gay district and you are likely to see Trans sex workers in the area, that said there tends to be a heavy police presence to keep the tourists safe and I never saw the police hassle anyone. The club is off Constitución and has a $20 entrance and a pat down. I did hear the bouncer charge someone $30, but I'm not sure if it was because it was late, 2AM, or if he just didn't like the group. There is a lot of security in the club and they were all friendly. At least one was armed with a pistol and extended mag.

Once you are buzzed in, there is a dogleg to the right with an atm and then the club proper. The space is about 40x40 with a central dance space with a pole and hanging ring. It is surrounded by 15 chairs on three sides. Girls are bikini only, but most flash tits and about 1/2 will flash the kitty if you are tipping.

The bar is towards the back with $5 coke and 10-15 drinks. You must have a drink at all times. Didn't learn prices for beer. The bathrooms are in the far right corner and are clean with no troll.
