chill option in Stone Park, 30 minutes from Chicago

I stopped into the Gold Room earlier in the evening and it was dead so went over to Carl's for a bit to wait for Gold Room to pick up. Three area clubs have closed in the past year on the neighboring street but in a different city leaving Carl's the only more chill spot compared to Scores and Gold Room.

Carl's has four pool tables. They check your ID. When I entered around 6 they didn't charge cover however I think they do sometimes now. Don't know when it applies. There were about 10 dancers there - all Latina and one Asian. The Latinas are mostly Cuba however Mexico and Costa Rica is represented too. The girls were 20-50 years old (60% in their 20s) and tended to be a bit more curvy than I'd like. By comparison, way more fit girls over at Gold Room but that is more of a full on strip club than Carl's which is part pool hall / part SC.

Bottled beers $4. Spacious mens room - two or three stalls and five urinals - always clean and never crowded since the club itself isn't that big. The parking at this club is a bit of an issue since it shares the lot with a few other retailers and there isn't a lot street parking close by.
