OK but not Great
Tuesday I arrived at Bogart’s at about 3:30 in the afternoon. Parked on the side where parking is free. I walked in the club and there was a $5 cover charge. This club is pretty low end, no frills. I sat at a small table at between the stage and the bar, and order a beer which was $7.
As you walk in the stage is in the center of the club to your right and is kind of “T” shaped. The bar is along the far wall straight ahead. Along the wall to the left is the VIP dance area. The bathrooms are on the far wall on the other side of the stage.
There were about 10 customers and bout 7 dancers. About 5 of the customers were watching a soccer game on one of the TV’s at the end of the bar. The dancers were 5’s, 6’s and 7’s, typically 30 to 40 YO, and all could use to lose 10 to 30 pounds. All but one were white.
Several dancers stopped by my table to talk but were not my type. Finally a slender older lady stopped and said her dances were $20 per song. So I figured this is as good as it gets, and headed back to the VIP area. $10 to the VIP attendant and we head back to the rooms which are small with a curtain closing them off. There is one room at the end which is bigger and that is the one we got. The room is no frills with a bench seat and one chair.
Her dances were OK but not great. I did two dances and left. On the way out the door I got a pass to cover the cover charge at Henry the 8ths.
