I went to Double D’s Cabaret on a Saturday night at 20:15. There was no cover charge, and the club was dead. I beat all of the dancers to the club, and the final dancer didn't even show up until 22:10. For that reason, I would say don't bother coming before 22:00. When you enter, the stage is over to the right up against the front wall. It has one pole. A U-shaped bar is on the left with twelve stools. Music is played off of a TouchTunes jukebox on the front wall. Before the dancers started a rotation around 22:30, customers chose the music, which was mostly hick hop. The jukebox charges $1 per song. There is a VIP room for private dances through a doorway on the left, past the bar. This room has six couches facing each other, so there is no privacy if other customers are back there getting private dances. If you walk all the way through the VIP room, there is an outdoor patio with a bar and a picnic table. You have to go outside to smoke, but vaping is allowed inside.

Sincweisers were $5 per bottle. Busch Light seemed to be a popular swill here. A plastic cup of Coca-Cola from the fountain gun was $2. A Jager Bomb was $9. The bartender didn’t know how to make one, so it ended up being extra potent. She free-poured probably two ounces of deer blood. There was no food available other than bags of chips. I think you could get away with bringing food in as long as you bring some for the staff. The ATM has a maximum withdrawal of $200 and there is a $4.95 fee per transaction.

It seems that on a typical night, there are five or six dancers working. There were five dancers on Friday night and five dancers on Saturday night. Surprisingly for the Sunflower State, most of the dancers were black. The dancers seem to drive in from Wichita and Kansas City. Only one dancer really piqued my interest: Secret. She was locked down with a regular the whole time I was at the club, so I didn’t even get a chance to chat with her. Private dances are $25 per song, but it seems dancers can charge whatever they want. For example, Jasmin was quoting $30 per song. You can touch the dancers all over during private dances. Contact is also allowed at the stage. You can slide money into dancer’s g-strings and smack their asses during their stage sets.
