a deposed emperor

Given that this place hasn't been reviewed in a year, I will explain my recent evening visit. I arrived around 8pm, which for a bar that serves alcohol is not late, unlike nude bars that often get busier later. I parked right in front of the building. An attendant ushered me toward a spot. I walked in, paid 10 and entered the main room. Right in front of me was the bar heading down the side. A bunch of table and chairs dotted the floor between the bar and the stage to the right. Straight to the right appeared to be the check-in for the lapdance area. A few TVs playing sports were around. I wouldn't say it was brightly lit by any means.

I sat in a chair and observed. No one was on stage. A few girls were at the bars with customers. Three Cuban girls sat near me. Eventually the bartender came up and I bought an hard cider. I think the price was 6, gave her a 10 and sent her away. So I sat there and started watching the basketball game. It was hard to decide what was more exciting...the basketball game or everyone sitting around. Eventually a Cuban girl, fairly cute, came up and asked me for a dance. I said no...never do that quickly. She returned to her cuban friends and carried on. As I sat there some other girls came in but no real knockouts. All seemed to be hispanic except for one white girl name Alice, a pretty and tall white girl. Eventually the stage sets started. Given that the few customers, including myself, weren't really into it (except for one guy), the girls seemed as interesting on stage as sitting down.

At some point a dark-skinned hispanic girl came up to me and asked for a dance. Again I said no and she returned to the cuban table. So I sat there for about 90 minutes watching the boring basketball game and the boring stage while girls preferred to sit around talking to each other than taking a chance on the new guy. (I had told the first one it was my first visit). So eventually I just left with no dances (think I saw $25 posted) and really without talking to anyone.
