Another Saturday afternoon visit

I was back in the area a couple Saturdays ago, so I decided to stop into the Playhouse. It’s a pink building that you can’t miss on Rt 130 in Burlington. There were a decent amount of cars in the lot for 2pm on a Saturday. It’s pretty dark when you first walk in, so give your eyes some time to adjust.

The basics: When you first walk in, there is a long u-shaped bar ahead of you with a couple stages and poles down the middle. The bathrooms are on the left side about mid-way down. From other reviews, I’m thankful that I’ve never had to use the bathroom here. The private dance areas are mostly down in the back left, but there are a couple rooms up front as well. Cover is $10. It will get you 2 drinks (bottled water or soda) this is a byob club (beer only), so keep that in mind if you’re headed down. Dances are $30/song. The attendant calls out the room number and then gives the song count so you always know where you stand. You can get the daily schedule of dancers if you text their main phone number. Just text them with the day, and you’ll get the schedule back in a minute or two.

From the schedule, I knew Devon would be there. I’ve been fortunate to catch her most days I’ve been in to visit. She was talking to someone on the other side of the bar when I got there, so I sat with my drink and checked out the other dancers. Minimal dollar parade that day. I was only hit up by one dancer making rounds. Unfortunately, I don’t remember her name. Not someone I was familiar with though from previous visits. The only other dancer that I remember was working that day was Tatianna (still haven’t tried her yet. I know there’s been the additional tip request from her, but would still like to try her out one of these days). Made eye contact with Devon and she came over after she was done chatting with the other customer. I had the usual great experience with her. 4 songs plus tip and I was out the door a little while later.
