Wanted to see for myself if the private dances were as pricey and lame as other reviewers claimed.

They were indeed $30 for exactly three minutes of Deja-Vu-timed music. More or less the going area rate, except that several other clubs offer some type of discount weeknight or songs that run a bit longer.

A walk to the men's room offered a glimpse of the action in the somewhat-curtained private booths, and the contact level appeared comparable to that of the Polekatz or Gold Room communal areas -- limited two-way -- though the Deja Vu booths were relatively more private. There may be cameras, though.
