Felt like I was in Latin America

I've driven past this club multiple times but decided to check it out after having seen some reviews. I agree with the previous reviewer that it's a very different experience to a usual strip club. The place is purely Latino in the atmosphere, music, and dancers. There's a small parking lot for which there's a 5 dollar fee to pay when you enter. Cover was $10 I think. Beers were $4-5. The club is small and not fancy. There are no smoking signs throughout the club, but people were smoking inside. They don't have ashtrays and will give you a little sample cup with some water in it to push cigarette ash in. There's a stage up front and one against the back wall. The back wall stage is pretty awkwardly placed and not large. While I was there, dancers were only doing dances on the front stage. The first dancer who approached me was literally a 1 out 10. Grossly overweight and half of her teeth had silver caps. I said no thank you. There were a few dancers who were 7-8/10. All of the ones I interacted with spoke Spanish only. A customer had called one out by her name and then they went to go get dances, so I figured she might be good. Grabbed a hold of her and went to the dance "VIP" area. This is where the setup is really strange. You pay a house mother type of a woman $20 and she opens up a curtained-off booth. Once inside, the curtain shuts, and it seems like people can have a really fun time. This was offered but it's not really my thing. I prefer nice sensuous dances from someone with a friendly personality, which is what this dancer offered. I went back to the main area and decided to try another dancer who I thought was pretty hot. This is where I got annoyed with things a little. It was $20 again despite me having just been there. The second dancer started hustling for payment for 2 dances up front. This is something I never do, but I'd already paid to go into the booth. I guess I could have just left and asked for the $20 back, but decided on the less confrontational path and got the dances. She did a terrible air dance for a song and said that was all. She then commented on how much more money she'd seen in my wallet when I'd paid her upfront. I just told her that "none of it's for you" and let her know that ripping people off wasn't going to get her any future business from people. I was here in the early evening and wonder what it's like at night when it's busier. I might revisit if I'm in the area but wouldn't make a trip out to come here.
