Offseason, but still prime hunting to be had
Went to GQ on a Saturday before watching a UFC PPV with some friends. We showed up not long after they opened (6pm), they didn't charge us a cover, there wasn't even anybody at the door. Smaller place, 1 main stage with chairs around it, some sofas around the walls with some tables. and a bar towards the back. Dances are in curtained areas with couches.
Drinks were around $5 - my buddies and I grabbed a round of drinks and pulled up to the stage. We were the first customers in the door, so the girls weren't even dancing yet. Once we sat down the first girl that was sitting on the back booth reading a book stood up, went to the sound area (girls pick their own music on what looks like a jukebox) and got up and danced on stage.
Each girl did 2-3 stage dances, some better than others. They'd all give nice personal attention for tipping at the stage. A few would come down and do a quick lap dance if you want to call it that. We had a good time joking around with the girls, ordered some more drinks, etc.
I'm used to Texas clubs, so kept waiting for girls to approach us asking to take them back for dances, but it never happened. No hustle, just a fun relaxing place. A few of the dancers were smoking hot, 10s for sure, on average I'd say they were 7-8s. I approached my favorite and she just snickered and said "I was wondering when you guys would be ready" - and back we went.
I had a few to drink so I swear dances were $20/each, but my buddy says he paid $25 and my other buddy said he paid 3/100, so I guess YMMV depending on how you get along with the girls. I was also tipping pretty heavy on stage, so who knows. Either way, I take my girl back and she gives me the rules (no touching 'down there') and she began.
I ended up getting $400 worth of dances from her - no extras, but her dances were amazing and she didn't take a single break. Again, unlike my Texas experiences where you're bound to get a girl that wants to sit on your lap and chat for a song or two if you're dancing for any amount of time. Lots of mutual touching (following the rules), lots of grinding, lots of fun. Then headed back to the stage area to find my group who were all in the back too so I tipped some more on stage and had another round before we had to head out to watch the fights.
I'll be back - no idea how crazy this place is during the peak season, but I liked it in the off season!
