Not Much Happening on a Saturday Afternoon
I arrived mid-afternoon on a Saturday. The building is perched on a steep embankment just a few feet from the highway. Parking is on the shoulder of the highway right in front of the building. Cars zoom by at high speed, so it can be a bit alarming getting out of the car. There may be more parking down a steep gravel driveway just West of the building, but I was unwilling to explore that.
The front door has a large silhouette of a stripper spinning on a pole. That looked promising. Unfortunately, what I discovered inside was nothing more than disappointing. Once in the front door I noticed a small, dimly lit stage tucked into one front corner of the room, a long bar to my right, and a man and woman playing pool near the back of the room. They were the only people inside. The woman immediately came over to see if I would like a drink. I chose a $2.00 soda, sensing I might not be staying long. I looked out the window behind the pool table and noticed a covered deck where two men and a young woman engaged in chit-chat. The young woman wore stripper attire but was mostly wrapped-up in a blanket. I sat down at one of the lottery machines and kept myself busy for a short time, hoping the dancer would return to the stage. I lost what little patience I had, finished my soda, and headed out the door. Wish I had more of an adventure to describe, but that was my experience on a Saturday afternoon. Would be interesting to find out what the atmosphere is like in the evening. I do not recall seeing a designated lap dance area.
