Ain’t like it used to be

Now, the Hole used to be my stomping grounds. Visions of Monroe, and Stephanie, and Isis, and Thai, and Penelope still roll around in my head. At its peak, the 19th Hole was the best spot around (though candidly I never did make it to the Ballpark…always sounded like somewhere one may randomly get stabbed…). I was intrigued when I started seeing some 19th Hole reviews pop back up on the board here. So I decided to run a recon mission out to Glenside.

Hole still looks exactly the same. Walk in, private rooms to the right, large oval bar with stage and 2 poles in the middle…pool tables and bathrooms in the back. No cover when I got there (it was probably late afternoon, before cover kicks in).

Only a handful of dancers, none that I recognized from prior visits of yesteryear, although Babydoll was now behind bar. Dancers were quite average, no real stunners. Most seemed pretty disinterested, though while I did not get to speak to her there was one younger attractive black dancer who seemed to be making the rounds. Unfortunately did not catch her name.

Long story short, my recon mission was underwhelming. Nothing caught my eye, and I found my way out after 2 beers (which were reasonably priced…maybe $5 or $6 a piece).

19th Hole still not on my radar. Will check back in a few months.
