Found one diamond in the rough

So after having dinner with some friends down in Morristown I decided to check out the fringe lounge. The parking lot was totally full and said F this and headed closer to home. I thought about hitting the Post and totally missed the exit. I was going to double back and it struck me that Roxxies was really close and haven’t been there since before the pandemic.

Driving through the area passing the Mideastern restaurants/clubs and the open produce markets pulled into Roxxies parking lot and found a space. Walked over to the entrance and the door is locked but I heard music coming from the other side. There was a sign that said to enter the side entrance. Walked in the it’s lit up but still kinda dim. There’s a rectangular stage surrounded by an irregular shaped bar. Walked 3/4 around the bar to find a spot that didn’t have any drinks in the spot. There were drinks that had not been touched because the ice had melted and you could see it wasn’t drank at all. So this tells me that the bartenders don’t really clean up much. When the bartender finally comes over and asks what I wanted, I said I wanted a water and she kinda looked at me funny. Tossed her a 50 and she said she will be back with my change. Now I’m not sure what was going on but I wasn’t expecting to get the whole thing in singles. Water was I think 6 bucks but not exactly sure, didn’t feel like counting my change.
