It’s a classic suburban strip club, don’t expect more
I’ve been going to the Candy Store for a while now. I have a few girls I go see regularly but won’t name anyone. One is named after an animal and one is named after a mineral, and that’s all I will say.
It’s a smaller strip club and it’s in a decent area, but far away from all of the other clubs in Phoenix. I live 10 minutes away, so it’s perfect for me to stop in on my way home. It’s across the street from a Walgreens and there’s a community college down the road a bit. It brings in a good mix of people. Everyone calls it a “biker” bar but I’ve seen maybe one bike outside the place in the dozen or so times I’ve gone there. It’s a mix of working class from the areas west of there and wealthy snobs from paradise valley and North Scottsdale. Lots of couples on weekend evenings.
The drinks are cheaper than most clubs. The atmosphere is a little on the grimy side, but it’s fun. They used to have a pool table, but it was taken out a few weeks ago and I haven’t been back nearly as much since. There were always 2 VIP areas and last I saw that was still the case. They put tables and chairs where the pool table used to be.
