Mary go round

Came in the early afternoon, and was approached immediately. Been here a few times already so knew what to expect. The first girl to make conversation beyond a hello will immediately ask you to buy her a drink, too. Seems like it is almost always an expensive martini, but that seems to be the intro method of determining whether you flinch and aren’t worth their time.

Had many pleasant long afternoons in the past, which keeps me coming back (to see the same girl). Inevitably, that girl is not there even though they tell me they are always there. There are a few regular girls who seem to be there all the time, but unfortunately for me, they are not who I’m returning to see. Then another girl comes over, I buy a few drinks and spend a few hours with her. She tells me she is surprised she doesn’t know me because she’s “always” there. Have a great time, we connect and I make a point to come back and continue where we left off. I come back a few days later. Of course, she isn’t there and it all starts over again.

Still, can’t really complain. There always seem to be a coupe of “new” girls that make for a great night
