Scam

I wanted to like this place. Was passing through for the weekend and had read positive reviews. Sadly, it fell far short of expectations. Met Maddie, who acted very eager to please. She sold me on a 15 min VIP room with promises of a memorable experiance. That would not prove to be the case. Shame on me perhaps for handing over cash to the house and Maddie (in advance of our VIP experience). Moments after taking my money, she excused herself with a vague excuse of needing to get something from in back. The next thing I know, a polite gentleman comes into the VIP room and tells me that Maddie claims I was being aggressive and demanding illegal favors.

Look, the experiences offered by places like Ybor/Scarlett’s are always on the edge of appropriate. I’m not looking for anyone to do anything they don’t want to. Let’s just not turn this into a game of entrapment. There’s no need to offer experiences you don’t want to fulfill. We’re all grown ups here. I draw the line when girls and their clubs use the enticement of extras to take your money and then act like you were the one to create the inappropriate situation. Fine, take my money, but I’m glad there are places like this to help the next sucker from getting scammed.
