A pleasant surprise.

I'm originally from New York, so I wasn't too familiar with the clubs in the midwest. That being said, I wasn't setting the bar too high for The Office, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I went on a Wednesday after work. The Office doesn't really show up on Maps when looking for it, but the business right next door does (Playmakers), and its in the same building, different suite. The entrance door is dark, with a red sign that says "Open" rigt above it, and nothing more. If you see that, you're in the right place. The inside has a dive-bar feel, dark enough, but too spacious. The chairs are all gaming chairs, sometimes around small tables, which feels akward, espcially for conversation. There are three private dance rooms with the traditional love-seat size couch behind draw curtains. That, I will say, I was not a fan of. The curtains feel less private than a door that closes, and even though the rule is no-touching, I didn't like being separated from the general crowd by a thin piece of fabric.

There were about 5 girls working when I first walked in. One thing I noticed was that, when it's dead, they don't really dance on the stage as much, they will hang out at the edge and just converse with whoever is sitting there, presumabily buildling that rapport - that's fine I respect the hussle. When it was getting a little more busy as the evening went on, they spent more time dancing. You'll find your range of stripper type here: big fake breasts and curvy thick girls to the rail thin no-breasts girls. For the middle of the week the variety was nice.
