TD’s not as good as pre-Covid, but Dianne is
For those that do not like to wade through similar club details for one review of the same club after another, I have put the details and prices at the end of this review so that they can be skipped without missing much content.
I had not been to TD’s North since before Covid hit, but I was in Albuquerque for some last minute Christmas shopping the Friday before Christmas and decided to stop in. The club was very dark, much darker than it was before Covid. They don’t have the TVs turned on, so I suppose that contributes to the darkness, but there are no ambient lights. It is dark. The club darkness is wasted in some sense as there are no longer any floor dances, which used to be a good value at $10 each and a great value if you had the right dancer in a dark corner.
The place was crowded. It was a mixed crowd, everything from blue collar guys to men in shirts and ties, but they all were civil; no gangbangers. I didn’t see any women customers or couples. There were few empty tables, but I managed to snag one in a corner. There were 15-20 dancers, mostly Cubans/Central Americans, but there were also a couple of home grown Albuquerque hispanics as well, both thicker than the cubans. There were three African-Americans, one thin, one a bit thick and one in-between. All were attractive. A couple of pneumatic bleach-blondes and a few MILFs rounded out the dancer lineup. I didn’t see any Asians.
