At the Gold Club on a Friday night. Pickings were somewhat slim, but I found a just good-looking enough and just personable enough young, slender blonde. For reasons best known to herself, she demanded my money right after each dance--not a good way to get maximum results from me. She did not pick up hints from the waitress that I am a dependable tipper. She slowly warmed up to me, however, and by the end of the night was all over me and willing to dance for free (knowing that she would eventually get her money). She was an excellent lap dancer. I had my eye out for more brains and beauty, and during a lull spotted a familiar and very good-looking face. In one of the major screw-ups of my career at strip clubs, I associated this beautiful face with a sexy, wonderful girl I had had at the GC before. Soon after she sat down and started talking, I recognized my error. This was a girl I knew, all right, but not the one I was thinking about. This girl has a great face and fine body, but an extremely tiresome personality and mediocre dancing skills. Oh s___! I'm a nice guy, and after getting her to come over, I couldn't blow her off and instead lost another $60 on her. On my way out--typical of the GC--I saw more hot girls than were there earlier. I blame my so-so night mostly on my second error--thinking I had a different girl than I did. My first problem I blame more on the GC: There are often slim pickings all the way to midnight.
