Came Too Soon (No, Not That Way)

I was in Atlanta for a few days and wanted to make a quick stop here before leaving town. My time at Diamond Club was not great, but it’s all on me.

It’s been a while since I visited this club, and I wanted to see the remodeling I had read about. My notes said that they were open noon-3 AM Monday-Saturday, but when I showed up just before 1:00 PM on Saturday, I found that on Saturdays now, 1:00 is when they open. Looking now at the club info on TUSCL, I see it’s been updated so, obviously, I should have checked.

No charge for parking in the large paved lot. The manager let me in after a quick but cursory pat-down. I asked him if they had any girls working, and he said yes, a few, but they were in the back getting ready. He said in about 20 minutes there’d be at least 20-30 more coming in. I was willing to wait. He collected a $10 cover and got me a $5.00 bottle of water at the bar.
