Not My Day

Decided to stop in after a really bad round of golf. Sat at the bar and got a domestic beer for $5.75. Service was good and I never waited for a drink. There were not many customers, but the bartender was busy setting up the bar. The chairs at the bar are starting to show age. Hard to believe that after all the money they put in renovation.

The dancers didn’t seem happy to be there. Some of them wanted to spend time on the phone rather than be with customers. They seemed to want to make a quick buck and move on. Some of the older dancers would have a conversation, but not in a good mood. Maybe it was my mood too.

Had a couple dances at the benches that are also showing wear. The mileage was minimal, with some mutual touching. Got the feeling that they were afraid of getting in trouble. Usually dancers around the holidays are looking to make money and put some effort into it. On this visit they acted like they didn’t care. Dances were $20 and some of the dancers expected a tip. I only tip for good service.
