Used to be good, but now...
OK, let me start by saying that I’d been a pretty regular patron at all three of the clubs here in Bakersfield, pre-COVID. I’ve decided to post a recent review for all three of them, so if you read these lines somewhere else, I’m not a bot, I’m just trying to be consistent.
The club is pretty small with a single stage and seating for maybe 20-30 patrons. They used to have these cheesy (but pretty comfortable) chairs up at the tip rail that were shaped like a woman’s shoe. Those are gone and replaced by hard plastic and metal chairs. It’s almost like they don’t want you sitting up there for too long.
This quiet, unassuming club actually used to be my favorite in town, but it doesn’t seem to have recovered from the pandemic shutdown, and that makes me sad. Previously, it was kinda cozy, and the dancers (while not necessarily the hottest in town) were all friendly and accommodating.
