Becoming my regular stop

After visiting the other establishments in Salem and enjoying regular stops at Cheetah’s, I made it to the Firehouse. Mostly to catch TUSCL member/dancer OregonscrazyRed, as the reviews that I had seen made me think that the place wasn’t quite my style. As noted in a previous review, Firehouse is very much a blue collar bar.

This review is way overdue, and will gloss over visits mostly early on Tuesday mornings, with a couple stops on weekend evenings.

The bar seems to sit at the quiet edge of town, just off the highway with a paved lot that wraps around to the East side. The lot is lit well enough to get around, without making it feel like you’ve got spotlights on you. I’ve never had any issue parking, even when things are pretty busy.
