Dude, Where’s Your Car?

I was in town a few days for work and decided to make Landing Strip my first stop. I’ve had good and bad experiences at this club. So far the bad was outweighing the good. After this last experience I’ll be taking a break and spending my money elsewhere.

I had texted a dancer a few nights before my trip to ask if she still worked at LS. To my surprise she texted back saying she still did. She let me know when she’d be at the club and I let her know I’d get back to her once I knew my work schedule.

Fast forward to my first day of clubbing. A local coworker ended up being the driver. This worked out well as I didn’t have a car this trip and I had someone to club with. We got there late in the afternoon, paid the $7 valet fee and went in. Once inside we found two open seats next to each other at the bar. We took that as a stroke of luck. Usually the bar is packed due to customers trying to avoid the booth fee. I ordered a beer ($8?) and he got a whiskey on the rocks.
