strip clubs are a fantasy: check.

Was in vegas with friends for a short reunion on a recent weeknight. Was feeling jet lagged and tired after a terrible dinner experience at Kumi @Mandalay) almost didn’t have energy to go out. But its Vegas so- jumped in a cab around 915pm, and cabbie asked where we wanted to go. I said we heard good things about BC and his immediate response was “You wanna get killed or something?” He explained that it was a in terrible part of town and that we would probably have a hard time getting a ride back to the Mandalay from there b/c drivers don’t like going to that part of town at night. Idk if that is true about the crime there, but I quickly said how about little darlings, to which he said if you like ‘em nude and young then that’s the place. Per our request, he stopped at a liquor store to get cash at an ATM (fee was 6.95) which was good b/c later at LD when I checked the onsite ATM the transaction fee was over $35.)

(Note that I’ve been coming to LD’s whenever I’m in LV, usually once or twice a year since 2014, and my expectations were low for talent and high for price, but figured it was familiar so we’d go check it out. I’d really wanted to see BC, but after our cabbie’s recommendation, decided to save that for a daytime visit. More on BC in another post)

The LD parking lot was empty. I was not too happy about dragging my buddies to an empty strip club with a cover of $47, so I went in first and saw roll call (above the DJ booth) of about 10 names, bartendress confirmed about 12 girls dancing and that “more will be here after 11”
