1st time back at Pinkys since the rebranding, and it was a good time. The dancers have gone up a couple of points on the hotness scale, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a couple of my faves from Southern X there. Still has that neighborhood bar feel - drinks are reasonably priced. Best of all Mr Ponytail is long gone, and without him glaring at you anytime you move the mood was much more relaxed.
You still have all of the Utah BS involved where you can't have a shot and a beer at the same time, and the dancers have to wear pasties, but that's not the club's fault.
Pinky's is still my favorite Utah club. Friendly, attractive dancers and a casual environment with a full bar lets me let me hair hang down when I want to relax for a while without breaking the bank.
