Every 30 minutes? Really?

This was my first visit to the Boardroom, and I arrived around 10:00 on a Thursday. Thanks to the previous reviews, I knew to look for a place called Frank's and go around the back. I would never have found the place otherwise, so thanks to those who wrote the place up before. Parking was plentiful and well-lit. The exterior had a very safe feel.

I walked inside to a little vestibule and paid my $10 cover, then went into the club proper. The place is really pretty nice. The furniture is in good shape, the carpet seems pretty new, and the layout is pretty spacious. As previously noted by others, there is a two-tiered stage with a long, narrow lower stage flanked by seats and stairs that lead to an upper stage with its own pole where an on-deck girl does some preview dancing. Behind the top stage is a huge video screen where music videos are played along with the music. I found this to be a bit distracting given that there were already two girls dancing at any given time and a number of TVs around showing keno and sports (a Bruins game on the night). Under the upper stage and behind the lower one is a communal lap dance area. There is a fully-encircled bar opposite the stage, and an upstairs that is presumably home to the VIP. The club was populated, but not terribly crowded. The bar was about half-full, maybe two-thirds of the floor tables were occupied and there were4-5 guys sitting at the stage. One of these was so loud every time a dancer took off an article that he could be clearly heard across the room over the music.

The Men's room situation was little weird. There is an air-lock setup with two doors so that patrons in the bathroom aren't exposed to the bar and the light from the bathroom doesn't spoil the ambience of the rest of the place. The problem is that the two doors of the air-lock are VERY close together, and it can take a bit of an awkward pivot to get out of the bathroom if you don't time the opening of the door properly. The bathroom was nice and clean, though.
