I was underwhelmed

I've read about the royalty room, and since I was in Youngstown I thought I'd give it a shot. The Royalty Room is behind Palace in the Pines bar. I didn't go into Palace, I headed straight back to the Royalty Room.

You enter via a door in the back of the building, up a few stairs. You enter a little vestibule where you pay the $15 cover thru a little window. Then they buzz you in.

The main room is long and narrow. The stage runs the length of the bar, about 30 feet. At the far end of the stage is a mirror, so the stage looks like it's 60 feet long. This friday they had free pizza. I had some, along with a $2 bottled water. There is no alcohol, and there'sa sign outside saying not to bring alcohol in.
