Couldn't find a dance during daytime
Couldn't give away my money here on a weekday late afternoon. Just a couple of dancers working, neither of which was anything special but I'd have gone in on the deal if I could get their attention. Both focused on some weird Asian guy in shorts from the 1980's who wasn't spending money but I guess they both thought he would pay off. One other pretty gal was way off in the corner, up in the "bleachers" opposite the bar, deep into her cell phone like she was reading Moby Dick.
Nice place, well-done inside, typical dark, corporate setup but not that big. Full bar, and some booth seating on the other (non-bar) side of the dance stage. A 'classy' interior without being overdone. It felt safe during the day, though I've read about some serious trouble here at night. Definitely would think twice about a nighttime visit. Driving here, you mostly have to do the parking valet, the guy in a little booth that juts out from the bldg, but I was able to park on the street nearby across from the car dealer. Nobody hassled me about walking in without a car.
What I remember from a visit long ago was a VIP area that is very very private and dancers who make the best of that. A dollar went a long way back then in this place. But after trying really hard to scare up a dance, to relive the fantasy, We all keep trying again at the places where we got luck once, don't we? And it never happens again, does it? I just packed up and left.
