OK talent. Possible ROB.
I have visited the Landing Strip many times over the past 5 years, mostly in the afternoon. In general, afternoon talent is pretty good but I've noticed a very distinct uptick in the price for fun in the VIP. I thought I'd submit a review based on an evening visit, in this case arriving around 9PM on a weeknight.
As others have noted, the club is located in a renovated historic hotel located right next to the railroad tracks in a small downtown area. The area feels safe, even at night. Valet parking is mandatory (although unnecessary) and costs $7 without tip. The stage and bar are on the second floor. Night time admission is $20, not a deal breaker but notice that the day time admission is free. There is also a $20 charge if you want to sit at one of their booths, probably room for 4 people. I elected to sit at the bar, which afforded nice view of the stage. Bathroom is clean but it does have an attendant who expects a tip for handing you a paper towel. But, he does sell all kind of "essential" products, such as candy, breath freshener, Tylenol. I didn't see any lube, condoms or antibiotics for sale which seems like a marketing oversight for strip clubs in the west Detroit suburbs.
I counted 10 dancers and a few more dancers arrived during my 45 minute visit. They performed two or three song sets on stage, getting topless by the end of their set. Shaped like an airplane, the stage has several short poles at various locations. Most of the dancers just swayed or danced around the stage. Some put in a bit more effort and made eye contact with the patrons. I was not especially impressed with the talent. Most of the dancers were thick, not necessarily fat, just thick. To me, the best looking dancers were Kitty (blond, shoulder length hair who claimed to have worked at Legends and Flight Club) and Daisy (an attractive dark skinned woman with a slender body and enhanced boobs).
