Nights are eh, but byob is good

Playhouse can be quite a drive for those who are coming from either Central or Northern Jersey or even more North than that. It is close to Philadelphia which I guess would be good if you are coming from there or looking for a change of pace. There are a lot of reviews about this place, for me one of the best attractions of the bar is the BYOB. After all, with all the different comings and goings and changes of many clubs, how many BYOB bars (esp with low to no cover) are left? The biggest one was 35 in Sayreville but they have been closed indefinitely (permanently or who knows) so byob are far and few between.

Cover and then a medium sized oval shaped bar with a friendly bartender to boot. She'll put your drinks on ice for you and nice to talk to here and there. She'll also help you order food which is actually pretty decently priced. Burgers, sandwiches, etc so not a bad place to catch a decent meal.

The girls are different sizes, shapes and ethnicities. Night time the girls are usually in their 20's and a good mix of latinas, black, etc. They'll come around the bar occasionally and you can tip, talk to them, even offer a beer if you have a spare. You should show some interest and tip because if not then the girls will stop coming to talk to you or skip you when going around the table. A nice looking puerto rican girl who was pretty friendly came around and we talked about Jersey since she commuted from Central and her trips abroad. Went for a quick dance and they are pricey over 30 plus tip. Also to note there is a camera in the room, not the biggest fan of that but I guess the guy who's counting the songs needs to monitor nothing illicit is going on in there. Dance was pretty good, lots of contact but each girl is different on how much is allowed. All in all it is decent, can be very good if you find the right girl I guess. However it's not the most energetic place in the night cap. I heard the days are better so I'll have to try that out and report back.
