I went to Ciro’s Place on a Tuesday at midnight. The parking lot is surrounded by a stockade. The entrance to the building is at the south end of the parking lot, not the doors facing Broadway. My drivers license was checked, and I was patted down at the door. Supposedly you have to be 25 or older to enter. There was a $10 cover charge. This is one of the smallest gentlemen’s clubs I have been to; the interior is about six hundred square feet. As you enter, there is a small stage about three feet off the ground to the right with a spinning pole and a chair. The stage is so far back that you have to throw your dollars if you want to tip the stage. There is no stage contact. On the back wall is a bar with eleven or twelve stools. Sincweisers were $5.25. I bought a dancer a shot, and it was $9.50. There is a snack menu where everything is $5 or under. This club does not have an adult entertainment license, so dancers cannot take anything off. Dancers wear bikinis, so this establishment is more of a go-go bar.

There were three dancers working. All three dancers were African-American. Rose was a curvy thirty year old with a big ass and DD cups. She had no tattoos and was well spoken. I’d grade her at a 7. Drea was younger, had C cups, and a bit of a belly. I’d grade her out at a 5. I did not catch the name of the third dancer or interact with her, but I'd grade her out as a 3. While the dancers might not have been knockouts, they had positive attitudes. The best looking woman was a patron who looked to be about 22. She was about 5’9” and a brunette. She was friends with the bartender and knew all the dancers, so maybe she was a dancer or bartender that had already finished her shift. A typical night at Ciro’s will have five or six dancers working.

There were two options for private dances. Fifteen minutes of dances in an office cubicle built into the main room is $60: $30 to the house and $30 to the dancer. Thirty minutes of dances in a private area in a more private room in the back is $120: $60 to the house and $60 to the dancer. I did get fifteen minutes with Rose. She allowed touching everywhere but nothing inside her bikini. I had been on the road for weeks and needed to knead some cake. I worked the curves of her body with my hands like I was Auguste Rodin. Non-private dances at the bar or at your table were also an option, but it was unclear how much they would cost.
