Great club, but only the regulars seemed to get any attention
Stopped by for the first time, around lunch. Initially, the place was dead--I got a drink (prices were very fair, and never felt pressured), chatted with the bartender, and came back a couple of hours later. At that time, it was packed, but not with a "strip club" crowd, but rather with an older lunch crowd.
This is the first time I've seen this, and I don't know how to feel about it. On the one hand, everyone was relaxed and having a good time and it was interesting to people watch, but on the other hand, the lunch crowd really did seem to be there just for the food...the girls on stage only got tipped by the same handful of guys, plus myself, which I don't think is right.
The lunch crowd thinned out as quickly as it formed, leaving the same girls (five, all of whom were very attractive), the handful of tippers, and me. Unfortunately, the tippers must be their regulars. Despite tipping a couple of the dancers quite well with a request to "find me" when the set was over, each of them pretty much went to their regular and ate and visited with them. It seems that eventually, the regulars took them to the vip rooms, but it was frustrating because these girls really didn't interact with ANYONE else (or make money) between their stage sets, which is disappointing because I was looking forward to conversation and eventual vip treatment. Maybe they were writing me off with the people in the lunch crowd who were getting a free show, I don't know.
