Nice midweek evening

I visited Gold Club Centerfolds in Rancho Cordova on Wednesday Oct 12, 2022 from about 9:30 to 10:45pm. The club is located in a warehouse like building on Folsom Blvd a bit east of Sunrise Blvd and just off the US50 freeway. The building is behind another building that is a boat dealership. There is a small sign out by the street for the adult store that shares the building with the club but no other signage. There is a reasonable amount of free parking (and I think more around the back of the building). Entering there was a sign at an empty entrance desk saying go around the corner. Doing so I was at the end of the bar where the bar person collected the cover. Cover varied a lot by day of the week and time of day and at this day/time was for some reason $22. No security stuff.

The entrance is in the middle of the long side of a rectangular room. To the right is the main stage which thrusts out from the end wall. It has two poles and seats at the tip rail around it. Away from the stage are small tables with 2 or 3 chairs. At the other end of the room from the stage is another stage that is a mirror image of the first. Only the one stage was in use at this time. A moderate amount of fancy lighting. There were some screens showing sports. The DJ was rather mellow and the music not too loud. Sons seemed normal length. A couple of waitresses circulated but without much pressure. I had a plain generic bottle of water for only $2. They also have food of some kind, but the cook goes home at 11pm. There were only maybe 15 customers and this number actually decreased by the time I left. There were about 15 to 20 dancers. Ages seemed mostly mid 20’s and up, mostly white. Good looking and in shape mostly, no overweight dancers here. On stage they did 3 song sets getting nude in the second or third song.

Lap dances were done in an area to the left of the main stage. Just a number of 3 sided cubicles although nobody walking by except for other dancers and customers. Dance prices are set by each dancer. There was a board by the entrance to the club listing the dancers and the prices they were asking. Mostly they wanted $40 for a single dance or 3 for $100. A few were asking $50 for a single dance. The DJ announced a 2 for 1 once while I was there, the songs during this seemed normal length. You just paid the dancer directly after the dance. There didn’t seem to be any system by which the management was keeping track of the number of dances.
