Been a long time...

Ricks was my go-to place in midtown Manhattan for a chill time. However with COVID and moving out of NYC, this was my first visit in a couple of years. I went there with an old friend and we always had a good time there. L

First noticeable change was that there were no complimentary club pass lying around to get in for free. We had to pay each pay 20$ cover to get in. The inside club didn't change and it looks more upscale.

We got in right before the end of happy hour so we got 2 beers for 14$ and sat down at a table near the main stage. The club was pretty empty compared to what i was used to there. We saw about 5 or 6 tables with customers but one big group of banker types looking like they were celebrating something with the company card. Most of the dancers we spoke with admit that it was slow night and has been slow for a while.
