I tend to go back and forth a bit between Kitten's and Pandora's. Today I just felt like a trip to Kitten's, and I am really glad I ventured south for a visit.

As other reviewers have mentioned, when you get inside it's almost like walking into a cave it's so damn dark; I might be inspired to bring a headlamp next time. I wanted to sit closer to the bar just to get a better feeling for who was working, but it was so dark I couldn't see where I was going. I finally sat down, halfway between the benches near the bar and the main stage. Eleven dollars was the damage for entry and a diet Coke. Kitten's is like most other Seattle clubs, no alcohol, unfortunately. But they do have a bar next door if you are thirsty. There are two stages, one directly opposite the bar and one toward the west of the main room. There are a maze of high-backed couches in the Lap Dance Area and there are also a series of VIP rooms that are cordoned off with curtains.

When I arrived around 1:30, I think I might have been the only patron there. Two patrons came in over the next fifteen minutes. There were about 6-8 dancers who were working. On past visits to Kitten's there have been one or two dancers who were either high or just not that all that attractive. Today was not one of those days, I would have gladly gotten a lap dance from any of the dancers that were working there. There was a rich and wonderful variety of body types and ages, and I was impressed at how the quality of the dancers at Kitten's has risen over the years.
