First visit to Bonkers

I was in town for business so thought I would stop in on this weeknight after reading prior reviews. I was not charged a cover, and being out in a rural area and able to park by the front door there were no issues at all with safety. It was fairly empty upon my arrival with roughly 6 guys and 6 or 7 dancers. I talked to the barmaid who was very friendly and used to dance, and I don't remember what my beer cost but it was not out of line price wise. Overall cleanliness was OK, not upscale by any means but I have been at far worse clubs.

As commented in a prior review the mainstage pole goes very high up to an elevated ceiling, maybe 15 or 20 ft high. A few dancers may have been prior gymnasts because they climbed the pole almost all the way up, which would have made for a big issue if they fell. I tipped a few dancers singles at the stage and was given a very generous view of lower anatomy that one might find in the study of gynecology.

Now on to dancer quality. All fellow mongers are on a quest to find the elusive unicorn; the Ferrari with the mileage of a Prius. You very rarely get both and certainly that is the case at Bonkers. While the mileage appears to be excellent, dancer quality was not so great. One may have been closer to a NFL lineman physique than that of of an average topless dancer. While there was no "tip walk walk around", I thought she should get at least a dollar tip for having the courage to dance plus I thought if I didn't tip her she might bodyslam me. She scowled at me taking the dollar and lumbered on to the dancer room. Several others were maybe 3-5 rating. Mostly AA with a few white girls. They have a small signboard over the bar that lists the dancers on duty. They also have a signboard over the entrance doorway that spells out the private dance costs, ( $150 for 15 minutes, $175 for 30 min, $195 for 45 min and $300 for 60 min), which all appeared to be happening in the back room. There was some very serious mutual groping and stripper handshaking going on in the bar area with what I guessed were regulars, mostly guys in their 50s-60s.
