A lot of potential, but was disappointed

I was in Houston for work and wanted to try a new club. I was staying by the Galleria. I came here and found The Colorado. When I pulled up they have a huge Vegas like sign. When you pull in the front parking lot is Valet only. If you want to self park you drive straight through and go through the alley and then there is a parking lot behind the building. It’s well lit but still a little sketchy having to cross through an alley to get to the building. When you walk in you go through a metal detector. Then you pay the cover. I gave the gal a $20 and told her to keep the rest so I don’t remember the full cover amount.

When I walked in there is a lounge like area with tables and the stage is to the left and the bar is in the back. The place is pretty well lit with animals hanging on the wall. I sat at a table on the left side of the stage. So looking forward I see the stage and then the bar behind it.

I grabbed a redbull to drink and it cost $7 I believe. As I settled in and looked across the landscape, there were about 15 dancers. I’d say half were hispanic and the rest were a split between white, black, and Asian. Overall, there were a few really hot dancers but most were average at best with a couple that really shouldn’t be dancing.

About half the girls were sitting with patrons and going back for dances. I keyed in on 2 girls that caught my eye. One skinny blonde girl and a beautiful brunette that had all the right curves and very natural looking. The blonde girl was doing her thing with different patrons and she seemed to keep busy. The brunette was sitting at the bar directly across from me. She could see that I was looking at her so she got up and came over. I was thinking this was going to be a great night. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The conversation was tough and awkward at best. She never asked if I would like a dance or go VIP. So I had to ask her for a dance.

We didn’t go anywhere she just did the dance at the table. The dance was very basic and maybe she just wasn’t feeling it. She took half the song to take her top off. Then at the end of the song she went to sit back down. I asked if we could do another one and she said okay. I was hoping there would be better grinding if we kept the songs going. Unfortunately, that was not the case. So after two dances I figured I’d cut her loose and try and get the blonde. I paid her $40 for the two dances.
