There are, generally speaking, two distinct kinds of strip clubs in Cleveland.....the "gentlemen's clubs" (Christies, Crazy Horse, et al), with gorgeous women and a fairly rigidly enforced rule set regarding contact (grinding yes; grabbing (in either direction), no); and the places that are much darker and dumpier (Bugsy's, Million Dollar Club, et al), with girls that may not be top echelon but mileage that greatly exceeds the more well-lit establishments.

Touch of Gold is pretty much the worst of both of these -- the policy and attitude seems to be pretty much hands off, the cover ($5) and girls drinks ($8) are expensive; but the girls are not great (or even acceptably good) looking, and the place is a complete dump. The lighting is circa 1950's basement, the walls are painted cinder block, and the girls actually dance on top of wooden telephone wire spools instead of a stage. Pretty cheesy -- especially for a $5 cover charge.

I did have one semi-toothless older dancer surreptitiously grabbing at me, but this was somewhat less than exciting, and it was not the norm. I guess it's possible that fun could be found here, but in any case would be VERY overpriced compared to nicer (or grabbier) other bars.
