Quiet Day Shift

Was staying in Ft. Lauderdale so decided to check out Oz this past Monday for at noon and stayed til 1:30pm. There was no cover at that time (until 8pm) and parking lot was free, medium sized, and well maintained.

Club was fairly large size with high ceiling, upscale w/ nice décor and furniture. There was a DJ playing. Club allows smoking. Quite a few TVs, around 10, around the. 3 bars but only the large bar was open and they are full liquor. 1 bartender and 1 waitress on duty. Miller Lt bottle for $6 (reg $9). Happy hour until 8pm and free lunch until 3pm (w/ 2 drink purchase). There were a decent variety of choices on the lunch menu. Tried the 8oz steak with my 2 Millers and it was good for bar food. Men’s room is large size w/ 5 stalls, 5 urinals, and 4 sinks. It was clean and no troll then.

Place was empty with 8 dancers chilling or eating, so I wasn’t bothered by them trying to sell dances. Around 12:30 a dancer started working on 1 of the 2 poles on the main stage, doing 3 song rotations (typical 1st dressed, 2nd topless, and 3rd nude). There were 5 other small stages spread out through the club. There were about 6 customers, mix of old/young and ethnicities. Atmosphere was laid back then but a dancer told me it gets very clubby at night. Dancer ethnicities were 4 latinas, 3 white, and 1 black. No asians.
