sinclair's Review

I went to Leather & Lace at 22:30 on a Saturday night. The strip club is a long building about thirty feet wide and extending one hundred ten feet back. There is a Mountain Dew advertisement sign on the front and two white fenced-in lots on each side of the building. Parking is on the street. Once inside, the front half of the building has a long bar down the right side, but is otherwise empty other than an ATM and a tiny, dirty washroom. The ATM has a maximum withdrawal of $200 per transaction and a $5 fee. You have to walk to the back half of the building to get to where the nude action is. The back room has a stage on the left wall about two feet off the ground. There is a railing around the stage and a single pole that most dancers did not know how to use. Where the front and back rooms meet, there is an employee working at the end of the bar to take your cover charge and sell you beer or soda in cans. The cover charge was $2. A can of Dr. Pepper was $3. A can of beer was $3. Leather & Lace seems to be operated by two women in their fifties. Also in the middle section of the club are four booths made of plywood for private dances. There are three on the left side and one on the right side. The booths have a padded bench to sit on and no doors. They are fairly private, and there are no cameras.

There were seven dancers working on a Saturday night. Dancers went on stage in no particular order. I think it was just whoever felt like making tips. Dancers do three song sets on stage, going topless by the second song and going nude by the third song. Dancers pick their music off of a computer. There was a good variety of everything from hip hop to country to hard rock. Most of the entertainers were too fat or too old. Only Honey and Willow had me lusting. If those two young ladies were not working, my visit would have been a waste of time. Supposedly, you are not supposed to use your smartphone in the back part of the club. I was looking at my phone while the very unattractive Sassy was on stage. She spazzed out and started yelling at me across the room. She should know that she is too ugly for someone to want to photograph or video her.
