Inconsistency In Experience

I stopped by on a Wednesday mid-afternoon, a few hours after a disappointing visit to their sister club, AJs. I was happy to see that they finally re-paved the parking lot so that you don't have to have your shocks and struts serviced after the fact as the lot was previously a complete disaster and basically one large pothole. There were about a dozen other guys in the club so the place was moderately crowded, but certainly not overly so. I would estimate the same number of girls working but, as was the case at AJ's, I was not blown away by the selection. However, there was one girl there named Melissa from whom I had received private dances twice before, but I didn't recognize her right away because she had dyed her hair black from her natural blonde color, as women tend to do a bit too often for my tastes since they can't keep the same hair style for more than three weeks, regardless of their profession. In any case, I remember that she had been rather wild in the lap dance area the previous two times so, after I realized who she was, I asked if she wanted to do some private dances. Her response was a rather unenthusiastic "ok" which I didn't really over-analyze at that moment, but it would prove to be telling. Apparently her uninhibited nature went away with her blonde locks.

The previous two times she had done a considerable amount of stick shifting and the grinding and general movement was quite excessive. She had also engaged in some dirty talk to help further enhance the experience. However, that was not the case this time. She barely gave any attention at all to Mr. Johnson, kept her back turned to me during nearly the entire time we were together and was very quiet. I don't know if it was that time of the month, if she had been told by management to tone it down or if there was some other reason for the deviation from the previously provided services, but this was definitely a disappointment. Sometimes you try out a new girl and she doesn't overwhelm you with her technique since YMMV, but when you are familiar with someone from past experiences it sucks when the quality of the product they provide is considerably reduced. I stuck it out for 3 songs at $20/each waiting for it to get better, but that never happened so I pulled the plug after $60 (no tip) and about 10 minutes total so at least I don't feel I was ripped off in terms of the time. Satin Dolls is never at the top of my list of clubs to visit so I don't plan to return anytime soon and, when I do, if she is there I will most likely not partake in another private dance. By that time, she will undoubtedly be a redhead so she wouldn't be immediately identifiable anyway.

This place tends to be far more miss than hit and many other previous reviews support this claim. More often than not, the mileage in the private dances is quite good, but this various greatly from one girl to the next and, as I found out today, from one experience to the next with the same girl. There is normally a decent mix of domestic and foreign dancers, but I haven't seen any I would rate higher than a 7 or 8 and some have been way too heavy to grace the stage of a go-go bar, IMO. Some speak very little English, a few are annoyingly persistent and overly money hungry, and some don't seem to want to do anything but sit at the bar and only do a stage set when forced by management to do so. The barmaids are usually friendly and attentive, for what that's worth. Otherwise this so-called renowned club really isn't all that.
