A late night visit to The Den

On my way back from a Labor Day party on Sunday, I stopped at a couple places along the way. I closed down GGR and feeling unfulfilled, I decided to keep going north up 35. I zipped past Black Betty’s, watched a darkened XXXV go by, and proceeded on to The Den (formerly Lust, formerly Visions, formerly The Den, and previous to that, Delilah’s Den once it had moved out of what became XXXV).

I arrived around 1:30 AM, and the parking lot was quite packed, given that it was a holiday weekend and many places were not open. I had been here before when it was The Den years ago, and I don’t recall if I ever went in any of the other names. I paid $30 when the guy told me it would be open for another hour or so. Pricy but you do what you must at that late hour.

The decor inside hasn’t changed forever. Door to the front left corner, an oval(ish) bar with a built in stage to the left with chairs all around - some high at a normal bar level and others actual chairs to sit at stage level. Comfortable enough though the chairs moved around so the aisles were sort of randomly shaped and sized. Clean bathroom even at that stage of the evening.
