Well, this will be more of an update than a review. XTC San Antonio is no more. It has been renamed and completely renovated. It is now called “Scarlett’s San Antonio”. I’ve already submitted a “New listing” request, and I’ll post my review of Scarlett’s under that listing once it has been established. They’ve basically done the exact same thing to Rick’s San Antonio, but that club hasn’t opened yet.
I guess all of the infighting and escalation with the city forced them to start over, and honestly, that’s probably for the best. XTC SA wasn’t one of those places you went to enjoy yourself, it was one of those places you went to experience something that you could share in perpetuity as a “craziest experience of my life” story. I’m sure at night, when the lights and music is turned off, those walls still ring out with the ear-piercing “crack” of the stripper who would spank herself into oblivion.
