This club is tucked away next...
This club is tucked away next to a 7-Eleven a block away from the main drag of the Jefferson Davis Highway. It’s easy to drive past the place, though street parking is plentiful and it’s several blocks’ walk from the Crystal City Metro. I stopped in on the Saturday after Thanksgiving around noon, shortly after they opened.
This club is indeed a restaurant, and it’s laid out in a rectangle with two small stages on either side. Both the bar and the kitchen are on the far end. The decor is a throwback to the 60’s or 70’s with wood paneling and mirrors. Girls alternate between the two stages, coming around for tips at the end of their dances. You can sit by the stages for a closer view, though with pasties, panties and no spreading of legs, you won’t see much. I can’t attest to the quality of the food, though a draft Bass will cost you $5 plus tip. They also allow smoking, which may or may not be your thing.
Coming from another Commonwealth state (Massachusetts), it’s hard to believe that clubs could be more restrictive than in our state. But the club scene in Northern VA and DC is even more so. No lap dances here, nor will you see any naughty bits. This is just a neighborhood restaurant that happens to have some dancing girls. Nothing more. That may be enough for some people but not for me.
