I knew what to expect, and was still disappointed.
It was one of those Fridays - off of work early and bored, so I decided to swing by. I'm a creature of habit. I know what I'm getting at Centerfolds (does anyone really say "229" before that?) and it suits my purposes. I got there around 3 pm - much later than I usually do. I like to get there at opening where I'm the only one in the place and can sip my first Miller Lite without being pressured for a dance. Anyway, I walked in, stood at the door for a solid 10 mins to let my eyes adjust. I saw the layout just as it has been since the memory of man runneth not to the contrary. Too many people were there, but I made my way over to the bar (on the right), got my Miller lite ($8 with tip), paid my cover ($5) and turned around to face the long stage in the center of the room. A spectacularly forgettable female was on the stage as far as I remember. I felt a hand on my arm and turned to see Sky, who I've had fun with in the dance room in the past. We chatted for a bit, she got pretty damn handsy right there, but I wasn't ready to head to thee back yet. I knew that meant I might miss my opportunity with her but that's ok, I like to see what's on the shelf before I make a selection.
I was able to find a seat on the wall that is on the same side as the door. I usually prefer the other side, but oh well. I was soon joined by Rain (Reign?) who is the only dance, no, the only person in there still wearing a mask. I've had really great dances with her in the past as well, but she was in a "wanna dance" mood, and not in a talkative one, so I passed. Listen, I need to be sweet talked into spending my money. Then it happened. It happens every time I go there. EVERY TIME. "Hey baby" said Luna as she sat next to me and put her hands on me. Ugh. I can't count how many times I've turned her down after she asks if I prefer ass or titties. I'm sure she's a wonderful person, and probably great in VIP/Lap Dance Room, but she's just not my type. I don't find her attractive at all. She's not ugly, she just does nothing for me.
I politely pass, as I always do, and resumed sipping my beer, and watching a few dancers take the stage, hoping I'll see something that whets my appetite. But it wasn't to be on that fateful Friday. So I finished my single Miller Lite, and walked out into the glaring sunlight.
