Great lap dance, dubious atmosphere share insights if you have any

Found out about Carl’s while googling strip clubs in the Chicago area. Recently moved here from another state and we didn’t have places like Carls, Bobby’s or Allstars there.

Anyway, popped into Carl’s around 6pm on a Monday. Very dead as to be expected. 6 or 7 girls there. Some were sitting together talking. Maybe 4 guys there, most watching TV or reading. Wasn’t sure if the guys were customers or worked there. I got a cheap beer. 2 older latin women asked if I wanted a massage or lap dance. I said no, only because I wanted to get a little buzzed first. By the time a third woman came (she was white, I think her name was Tiffany), I had almost finished my beer. She gave me a really great massage and then we went in back for a lap dance. Holy shit! She was good. Very unique moves that had me hard in seconds. I got three songs, tipped her 10 tan out of cash so I had to go. I wasn’t sure what exactly Carl’s was so I only brought about 100. If I’d had more in my pocket I would’ve given it all to Tiffany (I think that was her name). I’m dying to go back and see her again.

I’ve been to strip clubs and seedy bars on both coasts and the Midwest. This place was pretty cool. But, I’ve been reading about the area and there have been some shootings around there in the past few years. Anyone know, is the area safe? Do people get mugged outside? Do people get robbed inside? I hope not cause I’d love a nice chill spot like that where I can become a regular. Any info would help.
